We started tracking views on February 17, 2025. If your novel was published before this date, views from earlier may not have been recorded.

How does the view count work?

The view count shows the Total Views of your novel or story. This includes every time someone views or reads any part of it, from the moment it was published.

For example:

• If one reader reads 10 chapters, it will count as 10 Total Views.
• If the same reader reads Chapter 1 four times in different sessions, it will count as 4 Total Views.

Views are a broad measure of interest in your novel and keep adding up over time.

Why is views count not changing even though I know people are reading my novel / story?

The views count can take from a couple of minutes to a few hours to update. We always recommend waiting at least 24 hours to confirm if views has been counted or not.
